Concrete Office is six people making posters, typefaces and exhibition identities for museums, theatres and printers who still answer the phone. Find us on the second floor of Hennekijnstraat 88, Rotterdam — knock hard, the bell is decorative.

- Rule one: the client owns the problem. We own the typeface.
- // pitched for free once, in 2015. never again.
- Three type sizes per poster. A fourth needs a studio vote.
- If it reads on a fax, it reads on a billboard.
- Proofs get printed. Screens lie about black.
- Grids are promises. Break them on purpose, never by accident.
- The printer is a collaborator, not a vendor.
- // Henk at Van Stolk has the final word on paper stock.
- We say no to logo-as-a-service. Kindly, and quickly.
- Lunch is at 12:30, at one table, without laptops.
- Deadlines are real. Feedback rounds are three.
- Posters are arguments.
